Blu Pony Vintage + Giveaway

by Elisabeth Wilborn on April 14, 2011

Blu Pony Vintage is one of my most favorite recent discoveries.  Inspired by the roaring 20s, Bonnie Matthews has designed a truly timeless collection of heirloom quality classics.  She is devoted to making all the clothes in the United States, and utilizes only natural fibers, laces, and buttons.  Everything comes in sizes 2-8.  Lest you be fooled by these pictures, they do great boy’s clothing too.

Congratulations to Elizabeth W. who won the Lucy dress for her little girl!  To see my daughter in more Blu Pony Vintage outfits, click on the jump.

Behold, my daughter Miss Lolly, modeling the Clara B. dress.  I love the flouncy skirt on a toddler, and the sheer navy fabric is just stunning:

Here is Lolly rocking the Lucy S. dress.  So pretty with her blue eyes!  I would love this dress for school.  Doesn’t she look so studious and pretty?

Finally, here is Lolly in the Tamara dress.  It’s amazing how well this seersucker print works with tights and tall boots.  I think it will work equally beautifully this summer with her red Saltwater sandals and a sun hat!

Blu Pony Vintage

Isn’t it just darling?  We got so many compliments cruising around in these sweet little dresses!  If you love this clothing as much as I do, head over to One Good Thread, where they are currently offering a 20% discount to The Itsy Factor readers with code BLUPONY.  Offer good through 4/21/11.

Bonnie has generously agreed to give away one Lucy S. Dress (that’s the one with the three bows) to a lucky winner!  Just visit Blu Pony Vintage and leave a comment here telling us what your favorite outfit is (remember to check out the boys’ clothes too).  One extra entry each for following The Itsy Factor on Facebook and for tweeting about this giveaway on Twitter.  That’s THREE ways to win! Entries are restricted to U.S. residents only.  Last entry accepted Monday 4/18/11 11:59 PM EST.

I thought I was set on the Lilian H. until I saw the Albert E. It’s like a baby mechanic for all seasons, i definitely would not limit that to a boy.

That Clara B dress sang my name. But everything is stunning!

Miss A used to have a bathing suit dress that was almost exactly the Clara B dress, minus 1 ruffle and add 4 flowers sewn on the bottom. I mourned the day she could no longer fit into it…

I, too, love the Gertrude E! My 2-y-o Lucy Rose looks just like the girls from Dick & Jane, and wouldn’t she just be storybook perfect in that dress? *heart palpitations* So happy I found your stuff. Crossing my fingers for the Lucy S. Dress!
